Guy Trombley, The Mountain Shop, will speak to the history of the outdoor recreation economy. The Mountain Shop opened the same year as Timberline Lodge and established the first national ski patrol in the country. The shop supports a new 501c3 called Mount Hood Institute. Jocelyn Gary will give a summary of the organization and handle a brief Q&A session. There will be tours available of the shop, staff will be on hand to lead through the new space. 10 Barrel Beer and small appetizers will be served!
Please bring your own beer cup to minimize any waste.
